Job summary

Paws & Claws Total Dog, part of Digs Dog Care, is seeking a Pack Leader to supervise and care for dogs in our daycare and boarding programs at Eau Claire, WI. You will monitor health and behavior, maintain cleanliness, and communicate concerns to your supervisor to ensure premium, attentive care for every pup.

Responsibilities include safe handling, enforcing feeding and medication protocols, assisting with grooming as needed, and providing a friendly, stress-free visit for pet parents.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic dog behaviors and body language.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to handle animals safely and confidently, including large/giant breed dogs.
• Physically able to lift up to 40 lbs., bend, and stand or walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and well-being of all daycare and boarding dogs using proper handling techniques.
• Monitor and address dog health and behavior; report concerns promptly to supervisor.
• Deliver a hospitality-first experience by engaging warmly with every dog.
• Keep play areas clean and sanitize bedding, dishes, toys, and accessories.
