Job summary

David Evans and Associates, Inc. (DEA) Energy team seeks a Power Market Leader to drive the Power market strategy across the Pacific Northwest from Seattle, WA or Portland, OR.

You will cultivate relationships with utilities and federal bodies, guiding pursuit strategies and expanding DEA’s presence in the energy delivery market. You will lead senior client engagements, develop market intelligence, and coordinate with leadership to ensure successful project delivery and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience required.
• 12+ years in a complex consulting or professional services environment.
• Track record of achieving net sales results of $2M–$10M or comparable growth.
• Experience leading BD vision, strategy and opportunity conversion.
• Strong ability to forecast, monitor pipeline, and drive results.
• Collaborative leadership across multiple stakeholders and teams.
• Experience coordinating negotiations within internal processes.
• Active involvement in professional organizations or industry groups.

Responsibilities

• Lead Power market strategy in the Pacific Northwest with leadership and internal partners.
• Expand utility relationships and grow backlog and sales.
• Develop market intelligence on priorities, funding, trends, and competition.
• Guide pursuit strategy, proposals, and go/no-go decisions.
• Maintain senior client relationships and support executive presence when needed.
• Drive excellent client experience and uphold commitments.
• Coordinate with project managers to support pursuit planning and delivery.
• Monitor sales results, pipeline health, and profitability.
• Collaborate on recruiting and talent development to grow the Power market.
