Job summary

Golf Course Marshal in Pecos, TX is a part-time role focusing on maintaining a smooth pace of play and delivering a positive experience for all golfers. You will monitor activity, assist players, enforce course policies, and help ensure safe operations throughout the course.

You will also manage tee times, communicate delays or course conditions, and uphold etiquette while providing excellent customer service in a friendly, professional manner. Prior golf or hospitality exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor pace of play and encourage groups to maintain an appropriate pace.
• Provide friendly assistance and information to golfers.
• Explain and enforce golf course rules and policies in a professional manner.
• Monitor course conditions and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Help manage tee times and spacing between groups when needed.
• Assist with course etiquette and proper use of carts.
• Communicate delays, course conditions, or other important information to golfers.
• Respond appropriately to customer concerns and refer issues to management when necessary.
• Maintain a visible, professional presence throughout the course.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Golf Course Manager.
