Job summary

Pinehurst, LLC is seeking a Starter/Ranger to manage pace of play and enhance experiences for members and resort guests, with primary focus on courses No. 2 and No. 4.

You will work under Golf Operations to monitor play, communicate conditions, and support staff in daily operations. The role requires a high school diploma or GED with 2 years of related experience, knowledge of golf rules, and ability to analyze pace data to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with 2 years related experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of golf rules and etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Monitor & support groups on courses No.2 & No.4 to uphold pace of play.
• Perform Starter/Ranger duties and supervise pace of play.
• Assist in managing, supervising, and organizing day-to-day operation of the Starters/Rangers.
• Inform players about daily course conditions, pace of play expectations and guidelines.
• Produce daily, weekly, and monthly pace of play reports.
• Read and analyze guest surveys for improvements.
• Assist in producing Employee Partner work schedules for the Starters/Rangers.
• Ensure Member or Guest issues are handled promptly and followed up.
• Follow safety procedures and golf etiquette while completing tasks.
