Job summary

Pinehurst Resort is seeking a Starter/Ranger to help manage orderly play on our golf courses and guide guests to starting tees. The role requires standing for extended periods, physical ability to operate golf carts, and a solid understanding of golf etiquette.

Applicants should have a HS diploma or GED and be prepared to work in varying weather conditions while delivering friendly, attentive service to members and guests.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, plus minimal related experience.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and work outdoors.
• Good interpersonal skills and reliable conduct required.

Responsibilities

• Manage orderly play and direct players to starting tees.
• Inform players about course conditions and guidelines daily.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and golf etiquette.
• Assist with returning carts and delivering messages as needed.
• Support team members across varying tasks during busy periods.
