Job summary

Providence is seeking a physician leader to serve as Medical Director of our PACE program in Washington. You will lead participant care, drive clinical outcomes, and oversee the program's quality assessment and improvement efforts.

You will partner closely with Program Administration, the medical staff, and interdisciplinary colleagues to deliver high-quality, coordinated care that helps older adults live safely and independently in their communities.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine.
• Current, unrestricted Washington State medical license and DEA registration.
• Experience caring for older adults with complex conditions; physician leadership or medical director experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership for participant care and outcomes, and oversee quality assessment and improvement.
• Coordinate, supervise, and evaluate medical services across the WA PACE program.
• Advise administration on program development, management and budgeting.
• Develop and implement quality assurance and utilization review programs.
• Coordinate teaching and mentorship of physicians and non-physician staff.
• Promote collaboration among Providence departments and medical staff.
• Ensure compliance with bylaws, Joint Commission standards, laws and Providence values.
• Complete program records promptly and accurately.
• Attend medical conferences and CME sessions as requested.
