Job summary

Providence is seeking a physician leader to serve as Medical Director for the PACE program in Washington. You will lead participant care delivery, drive clinical outcomes, and oversee quality assessment and improvement efforts across multiple centers.

The role requires MD or DO, board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics, and current WA medical license with DEA. It offers leadership responsibilities, teaching, and collaboration with medical staff and administration.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics.
• Current, unrestricted Washington State medical license (or eligibility) and DEA registration.
• Experience caring for older adults with complex, chronic conditions; PACE, geriatrics, or long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership for participant care and outcomes, and oversee quality assessment and improvement programs.
• Coordinate, supervise, and evaluate medical services within the Washington PACE program.
• Advise Administration on program development, budgeting, policies, and protocols.
• Lead teaching and mentorship of physicians and non-physician staff; collaborate with Providence departments.
