Job summary

Cherry Blossom PACE seeks a Direct Care Aide to deliver compassionate personal care and support with ADLs to participants in ourPACE program. Work is performed under licensed nursing supervision and in compliance with Virginia health regulations.

Requirements include active Virginia Nurse Aide Registry status, completion of approved PCA or Home Health Aide training, CPR certification, a valid driver's license, and a high school diploma. One year of experience with older adults is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be certified as a Nurse Aide by the Virginia Board of Nursing and listed in active status on the Virginia Nurse Aide Registry.
• Must have completed a Virginia Board of Nursing-approved Personal Care Aide or Home Health Aide program and meet competency requirements.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Follow the individualized plan of care under supervision of licensed nursing staff.
• Comply with Virginia Department of Health and Virginia Board of Nursing regulations governing home care and adult day health services.
