Job summary

Midwest City - Del City School District is seeking a Performing Arts Centers Operations Lead in Midwest City, Oklahoma. The role coordinates three PACs, manages schedules, and supports technical theater operations for district performances.

The position requires facility oversight, strong communication skills, and the ability to work evenings and weekends to support events. A valid driving license and theater ops experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
• Valid Oklahoma Driver's License with acceptable driving record
• Must be available for unscheduled, emergency call, and provide communication during emergencies
• Bachelor’s degree in Theatre or Theatre Production preferred but not required
• Minimum of three years of experience in theater operations, venue management, or technical theater leadership preferred
• Knowledge of theater lighting, sound, and stage systems
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple events and schedules
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace

Responsibilities

• Work at heights not to exceed 110 feet and in confined spaces as needed
• Manage master calendar for all district PACs; coordinate community rentals
• Oversee theater technology: lighting, sound, stage equipment; ensure proper functioning
• Set up microphones and run sound checks for events
• Support technical needs for performances; schedule lighting hangs, cues, training
• Develop vendor, PO, work order knowledge; respond to issues
• Recruit, train, and supervise technical staff and student workers
• Coordinate with maintenance, custodial, security for events
• Ensure compliance with district safety policies and theater procedures
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
