Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies required.
• Minimum of three years of full-time higher education experience.
• Current NCCPA certification or NCCPA Emeritus status.
• Licensed as a Physician Assistant in Virginia or eligible for Virginia licensure by start date.
• Commitment to interprofessional education and evidence-based teaching.
• Active scholarly agenda and ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Teach graduate courses in the Physician Assistant Studies program.
• Oversee ARC-PA accreditation processes and ensure ongoing compliance with standards.
• Provide strategic leadership for program administration, fiscal management, and program review.
• Lead programmatic curriculum development, implementation, and assessment efforts.
• Engage in scholarly activities and contribute service to the department, college, university, and profession.
