Diakon Lutheran Social Ministries is seeking a program coordinator to plan, organize, and coordinate the PA MEDI Program in Pennsylvania. You will determine work procedures, prepare schedules, and ensure smooth workflow while expanding outreach and volunteer recruitment.

An Associate’s degree is normally required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Candidates should have at least two years in human or social services, and be able to sit, stand, bend, stoop, reach, and lift up to 25 lbs with

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree normally required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years' experience in Human or Social Services related positions.
• ADA: Ability to sit, stand, bend, stoop, reach, and lift items weighing up to 25 lbs.; visual and auditory skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and coordinate the PA MEDI Program.
• Determine work procedures, prepare work schedules and expedite workflow.
• Develop and implement outreach plan to raise awareness about PA MEDI services.
• Develop and implement ongoing volunteer recruitment effort.
