The position offers a full-time night schedule with a flexible 7-on/7-off model, comprehensive orientation, and malpractice coverage.

Qualifications

• Licensed to provide Physician Assistant Services in Illinois.
• 2–3 years of hospital medicine experience (preferred).
• DEA license for prescribing narcotics in Illinois (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive inpatient assessments and treatment plans.
• Manage admissions, consultations, and overnight clinical issues.
• Evaluate and treat acute changes in patient condition.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies and lab results.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Communicate with patients and families about care plans.
• Document care accurately in EPIC.

OSF HealthCare Saint Anthony Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and autonomous Night Hospitalist Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) to join our collaborative hospital medicine team in Rockford, Illinois. This nocturnist position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality inpatient care in a supportive environment while working alongside experienced physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and specialists.

As a Night Hospitalist APN, you will play a key role in managing hospitalized adult patients, responding to acute clinical needs, coordinating care transitions, and ensuring continuity of care throughout overnight operations.

Position Highlights

• Full-time night shift position


• Flexible schedule. 7-on/7-off model, 4- 10s and linked 12- hour shifts can be considered

• Clinical base hourly pay range for this position: $55.20 - $62.65

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Licensed to provide Physician Assistant Services
