Job summary

OSF Pulmonology Clinic seeks an experienced APN or PA to join our established team for outpatient pulmonology care. You will collaborate with other providers on complex cases, focusing on COPD, asthma, and sleep-related issues, with a daily census of about twenty patients.

This 40-hour work week runs Monday through Friday with no weekends or holidays, using the Epic EMR system. In the future, inpatient pulmonology care may be added, expanding clinical support.

Qualifications

• Licensed to provide Advanced Practice Nurse Services or Physician Assistant Services.
• Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and State of Illinois for prescribing narcotics.

Job description

OSF Pulmonology Clinic seeks an experienced APN or PA to join our established team. In this role, you will enjoy the ability to provide outpatient care while collaborating with other providers on complex cases. The primary patient panel is comprised of mostly COPD, asthma, abnormal CT, lung nodule, and sleep apnea patients. This role will require an initiative-taking provider that can use critical thinking skills to provide care independently. In the future, the opportunity to provide inpatient pulmonology care in addition to clinical support could be option. At OSF we use our expertise in the latest technology, along with proven therapies and diagnostic techniques, to help patients breathe better, so you can lead a normal, active life.

Clinical base hourly pay range for this position: $55.20- $70.09

Range shown should be used as an estimate and can be impacted by many factors including but not limited to the critical need of the position, overall experience and qualifications, community need, and other considerations. Additional compensation components may be applicable such as bonuses or incentives which may or may not be based on metric achievement.
