Job summary

Turner Industries, headquartered in Baton Rouge, LA, is seeking a Turnaround Scheduler (P6) to join our Project Controls Team in Baton Rouge. The role requires Primavera P6 scheduling experience on industrial projects, with a focus on turnarounds and outages.

Strong MS Office skills and the ability to read, write, and communicate in English are essential. You will develop integrated schedules, collaborate with clients and planners, and ensure schedules align with milestones and WBS requirements.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of experience using Oracle Primavera P6 scheduling software on industrial projects or turnarounds.
• Two (2) years of jobsite mechanical craft experience or BS in construction management or related curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an integrated, resource loaded schedule using Finish to Start relationships and WBS milestones.
• Apply CPM to monitor progress and schedule deliverables, prepare histograms, and present reports to management.
• Collaborate with client on naming conventions, WBS, formats and activity codes.
• Coordinate with planners to establish the most effective path of construction for maintenance to turnover; document estimates and assumptions.
• Embed AWP processes into the schedule focusing on transition from construction/maintenance to turnover.
• Monitor EWP, PWP, and IWP performance as required; ensure recovery actions with field supervision.
