Job summary

Turner Industries is seeking a Turnaround Scheduler (P6) to join our Project Controls Team in Baton Rouge, LA and be placed at a jobsite in Baton Rouge or the surrounding area. The role requires scheduling maintenance, turnarounds, and small capital projects for multiple disciplines, ensuring safe, on-time execution.

The ideal candidate has hands-on Primavera P6 experience, excellent communication, and the ability to develop resource-loaded schedules, apply CPM, and generate management reports

Qualifications

• 2 years using Primavera P6 for industrial maintenance, turnaround, or capital projects.
• 2 years jobsite mechanical craft experience or BS in construction management.
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with planning tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an integrated, resource-loaded schedule using Finish-to-Start relationships.
• Apply CPM to monitor progress and schedule deliverables; establish WBS and milestones.
• Collaborate with client for naming conventions, formats, and activity codes; communicate progress to management.
