Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Building Construction, or related field with minimum 4 years of related experience or equivalent
• Large construction project experience (> $50m)
• Experience in construction positions (e.g., Field Engineer, Assistant Superintendent, or related)
• Proficient use of scheduling software (e.g., Oracle Primavera P6)
• Knowledge of scheduling tools (e.g., Acumen Fuse, Change Inspector)
• Knowledge of building construction, materials, systems, market conditions, and trade practices
• Ability to interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, and scopes of work to develop project schedule
• Knowledge of estimating to support project schedule development
• Familiar with earned value concepts and using construction resources to validate productivity and durations
• Ability to manage competing demands and meet deadlines
• Proficient in MS Office and collaborative tools
• Limited travel

Responsibilities

• Develop schedules for large or multiple projects with complex scheduling activities
• Revise and review project schedule with project team and monitor progress against schedule
• Develop relationships with project stakeholders to communicate overall project plan and support performance
• Collaborate with engineering, superintendent, and procurement to confirm schedules and dates
• Create CPM-based baseline schedules using scheduling software
• Review and advise on performance of work regarding scheduling, delivery, logistics, and staffing
• Prepare detailed schedules with project teams across departments
• Coordinate with VDC team to align schedules and models
• Define project schedule metrics and track critical path activities
• Update project schedule dashboards and provide progress updates
• Develop recovery strategies to maintain schedule adherence
• Challenge project team with schedule data for As Built vs. Planned
• Review Pull Plan and Last Planner System integration
• Identify events impacting schedule and perform time impact analyses
• Conduct site progress walks to capture scheduling progress
• Generate and present monthly scheduling reports for ORM meetings
• Support end-users in using scheduling software
• Assist BD/Marketing with proposal scheduling activities
• Update cost/resource-loaded schedules as requested
• Apply continuous improvement to scheduling operations
• Perform other duties as assigned
