Job summary

Airswift is seeking a P6 Scheduler for an 8-month onsite assignment in Lake Charles, LA. You will develop and maintain resource-loaded CPM schedules in Primavera P6 for outage and maintenance activities, ensuring accuracy and timely forecasting.

You will work with scheduling and project teams to track progress, analyze critical paths, and provide regular reports. The role requires extensive experience with Primavera P6 and strong coordination across stakeholders in a large project environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10–15 years of experience developing resource loaded CPM project schedules in Primavera P6.
• Proven experience supporting large outage/shutdown work.
• Experience evaluating schedules, performing resource analysis, critical path analysis, and preparing reports.

Vacancy Overview:

This opportunity supports a major shutdown environment and focuses on developing and maintaining resource loaded CPM schedules in Primavera P6 for outage and maintenance activity. The role will work closely with scheduling and project teams to ensure accurate progress tracking, forecasting, critical path analysis, and reporting throughout execution. This position offers exposure to large outage work and a technically demanding planning environment where schedule accuracy and field coordination are essential.

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience developing resource loaded CPM project schedules in Primavera P6
• Proven experience supporting large outage or shutdown work
• Experience evaluating schedules, performing resource analysis, conducting critical path analysis, and preparing reports
• Experience walking down scope, verifying progress, and coordinating with multiple stakeholders to maintain accurate schedule status and forecast
• Experience supporting execution activities in the field and providing daily forecasts for management reporting

Required Skills:

• Intermediate to advanced Primavera P6 skills
• Strong capability in running reports in Primavera
• Ability to develop scheduling infrastructure including activity codes, resources, and WBS nodes
• Ability to import jobs, tie logic, code work, and resource load or level schedules
• Strong communication skills with stakeholders across different levels of the organization
• Ability to work independently without constant supervis

Required Certifications:

• Active TWIC or ability to obtain one prior to start date
• Ability to work in the USA without sponsorship
