Inovar Packaging Group in Willoughby, OH is seeking a skilled Mark Andy P4 Flexographic Press Operator to independently run our P4 press and produce high-quality pressure-sensitive labels and packaging to customer specs.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of narrow-web flexographic press experience, proficient color management, registration, and preventive maintenance, and a strong mechanical aptitude.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 years operating narrow-web flexographic presses.
• Experience operating Mark Andy Performance Series press preferred.
• Strong understanding of plate mounting, anilox, ink systems, UV curing, color matching, registration, die cutting, lamination.
• Ability to troubleshoot print quality and mechanical issues independently.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read production orders and quality specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate Mark Andy Performance Series P4 flexographic press.
• Setup, make-ready, plate mounting, and job changeovers.
• Read job tickets, customer specifications, and production schedules.
• Set up inks, anilox rolls, plates, dies, and substrates.
• Maintain proper registration, color consistency, and print quality.
• Troubleshoot defects: misregistration, color variation, ink coverage, dot gain, die-cut issues, web handling.
• Perform press adjustments to maximize uptime and minimize waste.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and cleaning of press equipment.
• Verify finished product meets customer quality specs.
• Accurately complete production documentation and quality records.
• Work with Scheduling, Prepress, Quality, Finishing, and Maintenance for efficiency.
• Follow safety, GMP, and company procedures.
