Inovar Packaging Group seeks a Mark Andy P4 Flexographic Press Operator to operate a high‑performance P4 press, delivering top‑quality pressure‑sensitive labels. You will manage setup, changeovers, registration, color control, and production documentation in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

The role emphasizes technical expertise in flexography, color management, and preventive maintenance while adhering to safety and GMP standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 years operating narrow-web flexographic presses.
• Experience operating a Mark Andy Performance Series press preferred.
• Strong understanding of plate mounting, anilox selection, ink systems, UV curing, color matching, registration, die cutting, lamination.
• Ability to troubleshoot print quality and mechanical issues independently.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read production orders and quality specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Independently operate a Mark Andy Performance Series P4 flexographic press.
• Perform complete press setup, make-ready, plate mounting, and job changeovers.
• Read and interpret job tickets, customer specifications, and production schedules.
• Set up inks, anilox rolls, plates, dies, and substrates according to job requirements.
• Maintain proper registration, color consistency, and print quality throughout production.
• Troubleshoot print defects including misregistration, color variation, ink coverage, dot gain, die-cut issues, and web handling concerns.
