Job summary

Databricks seeks a P2P Data & Automation Lead in San Francisco to own end‑to‑end P2P process automation and data solutions within the procurement workflow. You will design, deploy, and scale automations inside key systems, drive rapid iterations, and build trusted data assets and dashboards.

You will partner with Procurement, Finance Data, and CIO teams, champion user adoption, and ensure compliance with governance and SOX while delivering measurable improvements in cycle time and accuracy.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years in data analytics, process automation, or operations roles within P2P, procurement, or finance — with demonstrable examples of automations or data products you built, shipped, and scaled yourself.
• Hands-on technical skills: SQL and Python (or equivalent), workflow and integration tooling (iPaaS, RPA, or native platform automation), and dashboarding/BI.
• Working knowledge of P2P systems and data — ERP (SAP or NetSuite), procurement intake/orchestration platforms (ZIP or similar), and expense management tools — including how transactions, approvals, and master data flow between them.

Responsibilities

• Own designated P2P sub‑processes end to end — intake‑to‑PO, invoice exception handling, supplier onboarding, expense workflows.
• Translate pain points into structured requirements and solution designs within the Finance Data Strategy governance framework.
• Design, deploy, and scale automations directly within business workflows and the systems where work actually happens.
• Release minimum viable automations in weeks and refine based on usage data and feedback.
• Build and maintain P2P datasets, dashboards, and metrics aligned with governance and SOX requirements.
• Design role‑based training and enablement for affected stakeholders; drive adoption and change management.
• Triage, prioritize, and publish a roadmap; balance transformation priorities with operational requests.
• Partner with Procurement ops, Finance Data, CIO, and managed services; ensure alignment with ongoing programs.
