Job description

Position: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Geriatric. Salary Range: $45-50 per hour. Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday‑Friday, no weekend rotation. Facility: 126‑bed Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the evaluation and treatment of patients under the direction of a licensed physical therapist.
• Implement individualized treatment plans to help patients improve their mobility, strength, and overall physical function.
• Monitor and document patient progress and communicate updates to the physical therapist and other members of the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises and activities to improve their condition and prevent further injury.
• Collaborate with other therapists and healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date patient records and documentation.
• Adhere to all facility policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations related to physical therapy services.
