Overview

Position: Physical Therapist Assistant - Geriatric

Salary Range: $28.03 - $30.81 per hour

Working Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday, no weekend rotation

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work closely with our Physical Therapist to help patients regain movement and manage pain. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Physical Therapist to develop and implement treatment plans for geriatric patients
• Assist patients with exercises and activities to improve mobility, strength, and balance
• Monitor and track patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
• Educate patients and their families on proper techniques and exercises to continue at home
• Communicate regularly with the Physical Therapist and other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
• Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in patient care and confidentiality
