Job summary

Shermco Industries seeks a General Manager with P&L experience to lead our Houston area operations. This role oversees staff, processes, and performance, with responsibility for $5-10M+ in P&L and a 50-employee branch.

The successful candidate will drive operational excellence, maintain a strong safety culture, build customer relationships, and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering on company goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or business management preferred.
• 5+ years in operations/general management with full P&L responsibility of $5-10M+ and 8-10+ employees.
• Experience with customers and building relationships.
• Strong leadership, safety culture, and change management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise staff, including hiring, training, and evaluations.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
• Ensure processes run smoothly and efficiently.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement productivity strategies.
• Monitor and analyze KPIs to measure success.
• Collaborate with other departments to align goals.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and laws.
