Job summary

Quest Energy Group in Tulsa seeks an experienced Engineering Manager (P.E.) to lead its engineering and design operations, developing a high-performing multidisciplinary team of engineers and designers.

You will oversee small to medium capital projects ranging from $100K to $1M for midstream and downstream facilities, guiding execution from concept through commissioning and closeout while ensuring quality and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Oklahoma or ability to obtain via reciprocity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of engineering experience, including at least 3 years in leadership or management.
• Experience managing engineers and designers within EPC/engineering services.
• Hands-on project management experience delivering capital projects in midstream/downstream sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team of engineers and designers, overseeing engineering quality, project execution, resource allocation, and team performance.
• Manage small to medium capital projects ($100K–$1M) for midstream and downstream facilities, including refinery, petrochemical, pipeline, and industrial infrastructure projects.
• Oversee project execution from scope development and engineering design through procurement support, construction coordination, commissioning, and closeout.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, engineering deliverables, client expectations, and multidisciplinary design coordination.
• Serve as Engineer of Record (P.E.) for Tulsa office work, ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and QA/QC.
• Collaborate with clients, project managers, and discipline leads to deliver engineering solutions for facility modifications and brownfield projects.
• Support growth of Tulsa operation through team development, recruiting, client relationships, and resource planning.
