Job summary

Futran Solutions is seeking a VP-caliber Delivery Director to lead strategic technology transformation and managed-services delivery for P&C insurance clients in the United States. You will drive multi-program delivery across policy, claims, underwriting, billing, distribution, data, analytics, and CX.

The role requires strong technical leadership, deep P&C insurance expertise, executive presence, commercial ownership, and proven experience managing onsite/offshore teams and multi-vendor

Qualifications

• 14+ years of progressive technology delivery, program, portfolio, or engineering leadership
• Strong hands-on engineering/technical leadership experience as Senior Engineer, Technical Lead, Solution Architect, Engineering Lead, or similar
• Deep P&C insurance industry experience delivering mission-critical programs
• Recent experience with modern applications, APIs, cloud-native platforms, data, automation, and AI
• Ability to evaluate and challenge architecture, security, trade-offs, delivery feasibility, and risk
• Experience leading large, multi-workstream, multi-vendor, global teams
• Strong P&L/margin, budgeting, forecasting, utilization, and commercial ownership experience
• Excellent executive stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, SAFe, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models
• Experience with managed services, SLAs, incident management, hypercare, and implementation-to-run transitions
• Preferred: PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, Scrum, ITIL, Cloud, or Architecture certifications
• Experience with Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco, Salesforce FSC, or similar insurance platforms
• Global delivery experience across onsite/offshore/nearshore models
• Experience with AI governance, responsible AI, data privacy, and model risk management
• MBA or equivalent advanced business qualification

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, multi-program delivery across policy, claims, underwriting, billing, distribution, data, analytics, and CX
• Manage executive client relationships, delivery governance, transformation roadmaps, risks, budgets, quality, and business outcomes
• Provide technical leadership across cloud, APIs, modern applications, data platforms, automation, and AI, with the ability to challenge architecture and engineering decisions
• Lead large distributed onsite/offshore/nearshore and multi-vendor teams
• Own program financials including revenue, margin, forecasting, utilization, cost management, and invoicing
• Drive solutioning, staffing, SOW governance, transitions, managed services, SLAs, and service improvements
• Lead recovery plans, risk management, continuous improvement, and executive reporting
• Support account growth through renewals, cross-selling, and transformation opportunities
• Ensure alignment with security, privacy, audit, regulatory, market-conduct, and responsible AI requirements
