Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or related field.
• 10+ years IT experience, including 3+ years in Solution Architecture roles.
• Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance industry experience required.
• Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Proven experience leading large-scale enterprise transformation initiatives.
• Experience working with distributed Agile teams.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java-based full stack development.
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Extensive experience with workflow and BPM platforms such as Pega.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud, Azure Kubernetes Service, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with API-led architecture, enterprise integration patterns, event-driven architecture, and messaging platforms such as Kafka or Azure Service Bus.
• Experience architecting/delivering iOS/Android apps, customer self-service portals, agent/broker portals, and digital claims/policy servicing.
• Experience implementing Generative AI solutions using LLMs, RAG, AI chatbots, and intelligent document processing.
• Experience with P&C platforms such as Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco, or similar.
• Experience with domain-driven design (DDD).
• Azure certifications and cloud architecture certifications.
• Experience with data/analytics platforms supporting insurance operations.
• Strong understanding of insurance security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Strategic thinking, architecture leadership, stakeholder management, communication, mentoring, and technical leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern end-to-end solution architecture for large-scale P&C insurance platforms and digital initiatives.
• Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering to translate requirements into scalable technology solutions.
• Develop architecture roadmaps aligned with enterprise standards and business objectives.
• Lead architecture reviews, design workshops, and technical governance processes.
• Provide technology leadership throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Design solutions for policy administration, underwriting, claims, billing, portals, self-service, and regulatory compliance.
• Modernize legacy applications and integrate third-party insurance platforms.
• Architect customer-facing web and mobile applications and omnichannel experiences.
• Ensure availability, security, performance, and scalability of customer-facing solutions.
• Lead adoption of Microsoft Azure cloud-native architectures.
• Define Kubernetes containerization and deployment strategies.
• Evaluate and implement Generative AI use cases including customer service, claims automation, knowledge assistants, underwriting support, and document processing.
• Drive API, microservices, and event-driven integration strategies.
