We are seeking candidates who have an active Commercial Property & Casualty License in their state of residence, and who are in good standing with any non-resident P&C licenses they hold.
The Hartford’s Small Business Inside Sales Team is growing! The Insurance Sales Consultant is a key member of the Inside Sales team who has accountability for driving new business growth across the Small Business segment. The ideal candidate is a goal-oriented and sales-focused individual with a passion to make strong connections with customers to win in a competitive marketplace.
Our 8-week training program will start June 2025. Training consists of both self-directed learning and instructor-led virtual classroom learning. The Sales Consultant position sells property & casualty insurance products direct to small business owners countrywide.
WORK FORMAT/SCHEDULE
This position is 100% remote for candidates residing in MST, PST, or Texas only. Please note that candidates living within a commutable distance from San Antonio, TX will be asked to work a hybrid schedule (please see our hybrid posting).
Our schedule upon training completion will be 9:30am – 6:00pm MST / 8:30am - 5:00pm PST.

Compensation
The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:
$46,800 - $70,200
