Job summary

Songe Insurance Agency in Ocean Springs, MS seeks a motivated Insurance Sales Producer to develop new business, build client relationships, and provide tailored insurance solutions for individuals, families, and businesses along the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

The position offers a guaranteed monthly draw against commissions with uncapped earnings, plus renewal commissions and benefits such as PTO, holidays, training, and licensing support. Strong sales experience and active P&C license preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Mississippi Property & Casualty license preferred; unlicensed candidates must obtain licensing within 60 days.
• Previous insurance sales experience preferred; others considered with proven sales background.
• Strong sales, prospecting, relationship-building and closing skills.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work toward sales objectives.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills with prospecting and follow-up management.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through prospecting, referrals, networking, and community involvement.
• Develop relationships with prospective clients, referral partners, and local businesses.
• Identify customer insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage options.
• Prepare quotes, present proposals, and follow up with prospects to secure new business.
• Meet established sales goals while maintaining consistent prospecting and follow-up activities.
• Maintain accurate prospect records, sales activities, and policy documentation in the agency management system.
• Coordinate with Account Managers and insurance carriers to ensure accurate policy issuance and smooth client transitions.
• Stay informed about insurance products, carrier guidelines, underwriting requirements, and market developments.
