Job summary

COASTAL INSURANCE GROUP, INC. is seeking an experienced, relationship-driven insurance producer to build and manage a Commercial and Personal Lines book of business.

The role targets independence, growth, and high income potential in a performance-based environment, with licensing in Property & Casualty required and experience in an independent retail insurance agency preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience within an independent retail insurance agency
• Proven experience in business development in both Commercial and Personal Lines
• License: Property & Casualty (ANY State)
• Experience with commission-based compensation structures preferred

Responsibilities

• Generate new business by identifying prospects and developing client relationships.
• Drive the end-to-end insurance lifecycle, from discovery and design through placement and ongoing advisory.
• Complete and submit ACORD applications accurately and thoroughly.
• Market new business to appropriate insurance carriers based on risk and carrier appetite.
• Obtain, review and compare carrier quotes to identify suitable coverage options.
• Present insurance proposals and coverage recommendations to prospective clients.
• Maintain working knowledge of insurance products, carrier rating systems, and underwriting appetites.
• Communicate effectively with clients, carriers and internal team members.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth client experience and successful policy placement.
