Job summary

Athyna is seeking an Operations Manager for a P&C insurance agency in San Antonio. You will lead day-to-day operations across the policy lifecycle, oversee the CRM team, and coordinate carrier quotes, endorsements, and renewals.

You bring 5+ years in P&C operations, 2+ years in commercial lines, and supervisory experience. Proficiency with EZlynx and carrier websites, strong organization and communication will set you up for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in P&C insurance operations or policy management.
• 2+ years in commercial lines.
• 1+ year in a supervisory or management role.

Responsibilities

• Support the Agency Manager in overseeing daily operations across the full policy lifecycle.
• Coordinate with the CRM Team Lead to assign and monitor daily tasks across the CRM team.
• Oversee quoting with multiple carriers, broker applications, certificates, endorsements, and renewal preparation.
• Order and issue binders, certificates, policies, and endorsements, verifying accuracy before sending to clients.
• Process renewals with producers and agents, following agency procedures.
• Own customer satisfaction and retention across the team's book of business, stepping in early when issues come up.
• Own sales and production targets for yourself and your team.
• Train new hires through knowledge transfer, on-the-job training, and floor support.
• Review recurring reports (tasks, missed calls, renewal pipeline, new business) and drive resolution of flagged issues.
• Monitor adherence to SOPs, including task notation, EZlynx labeling, and folder structure.
• Partner with the Quality Control Lead and Service Delivery Leader to close productivity gaps and improve team knowledge.
• Work with the Closing Procedure Lead to keep policies moving smoothly through to close.
• Hold daily meetings with Team Leads to improve workflow and productivity.
• Report daily, weekly, and monthly deliverables to senior management independently.
• Support the Agency Manager on ad hoc projects, audits, and process improvements.
