Job summary

Team Focus Insurance Group is seeking a Lead, Data Analytics to drive strategic data use across underwriting, claims, distribution, and client experience. You will translate business questions into analytics, mentor analysts, and deliver scalable insights in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong SQL and Python/R skills, expertise with Power BI or Looker, and a deep understanding of P&C insurance data. Remote and hybrid options are available, with travel minimal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, CS, Economics, Business Analytics, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred (MBA, MS in Data Science/Analytics) is a plus.
• Certifications such as Google Data Analytics or AWS Data Analytics are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead end-to-end analytics projects across P&C underwriting, claims, distribution, and client experience.
• Develop predictive models and segmentation analyses on large datasets.
• Define and track KPIs to drive accountability and operational improvement.
• Architect scalable data models and pipelines in collaboration with data engineering.
• Build executive dashboards and self-service reporting with Power BI or Looker.
• Mentor junior analysts and lead analytics delivery within sprints.
