Job summary

Oncorreinc seeks a Business Data Analyst to support enterprise-level data initiatives in the Property & Casualty Insurance domain. Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience in data analysis, mapping, and transformation in enterprise environments.
• Strong SQL proficiency with analytic functions and performance tuning.
• Experience developing source-to-target mapping (STTM) documents and ETL/data flows.
• Knowledge of data consolidation, standardization across diverse sources.
• Deep knowledge of Property & Casualty Insurance data domain.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end data analysis, including profiling, validation, and transformation for large-scale data integration and reporting projects.
• Develop source-to-target data mappings (STTM) and documentation based on business requirements.
• Collaborate with business users to translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
• Work with data engineers to implement and validate data consolidation and transformation logic.
• Optimize complex SQL queries for performance on large datasets.
• Participate in data quality assessments and recommend cleansing/enrichment strategies.
• Leverage P&C Insurance domain knowledge to align data with business processes.
• Facilitate communication between SMEs, data modelers, and technical teams for data delivery.
