Job summary

Capgemini is seeking an experienced Business Data Analyst with a strong background in data engineering and data warehousing within the Property & Casualty Insurance domain. You will bridge business stakeholders, data teams, and IT to deliver data-driven solutions that meet strategic goals.

The role requires hands-on data profiling, data mapping, and transformation logic development, with experience across Snowflake, Redshift, and BigQuery in cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Business Analyst with data warehousing experience.
• Mandatory experience in the Property & Casualty Insurance industry.
• Hands-on data profiling, data analysis, data mapping, validation, and reconciliation.
• Strong knowledge of P&C processes: policy administration, underwriting, claims, billing.
• Familiarity with Star/Snowflake data modelling concepts.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and data requirements with stakeholders.
• Translate requirements into functional and technical specs for data teams.
• Define business rules, KPIs, data use cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Perform data profiling, analysis, and discovery to identify quality issues.
• Document pseudo code, transformation logic, and source-to-target mappings.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers on ETL/ELT and data warehousing initiatives.
• Lead requirements workshops and solution reviews.
• Act as liaison between business users, data teams, and IT stakeholders.
• Support data governance, quality, security, and regulatory initiatives.
