• The Claims Analyst performs preparatory work before releasing the file to an Examiner.
• Conducts initial file investigation to qualify P&C claims for recovery efforts.
• Retrieves relevant documents to support recovery efforts.
• Captures essential file elements from documents and internet databases.
• Interprets file information to determine relevance of data.
• Reviews electronic files for recovery potential and confirms findings.
• Reviews client files to verify recovery potential and accuracy.
• Handles special projects as assigned.
• Checks client online systems to obtain information for subrogation files.
