Position Overview: The P&C Account Manager (Yacht Business Unit) provides quality service to existing clients, manages, and grows a Yacht/Boat/Marina book of business. Responsibilities include building client relationships, cross-selling policies, and ensuring customer satisfaction to enhance loyalty and maximize revenue.

Work Arrangement: Full-time, remote position supporting Miami and Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Professional Responsibilities:

  1. Cultivate meaningful client relationships by understanding their needs, providing support, and delivering exceptional service.
  2. Proactively communicate with clients to exceed expectations and identify coverage enhancement opportunities.
  3. Manage new and renewal accounts by evaluating risks, recommending coverage, and aligning with underwriting standards.
  4. Maintain accurate client records, process endorsements, and issue policies efficiently.
  5. Review renewal and expiration reports to develop retention and satisfaction strategies.
  6. Grow business through cross-selling policies aligned with client needs and risks.
  7. Leverage industry knowledge to provide expert guidance and coverage strategies.
  8. Act as liaison among clients, producers, underwriters, and management for smooth collaboration.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends and carrier updates via training and professional development.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  1. 1-3 years of experience in sales, account management, or customer service roles.
  2. High School Diploma/GED or Associate Degree in Business or related field.
  3. Florida 2-20 Insurance License required.
  4. Knowledge of Property and Casualty Insurance, specifically Yacht/Boat/Marina in Florida.
  5. Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Business, Marketing, or related field is a plus.
  6. Strong knowledge of commercial lines insurance products and underwriting principles.
  7. Experience in building and maintaining client relationships.
  8. Organizational skills to prioritize and manage responsibilities.
  9. Problem-solving skills and persistence in resolutions.
  10. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  11. Proficiency with CRM and Microsoft Office.
  12. Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
