Job summary

Yamaha Motor Corporation in Marietta, GA seeks a P&A Business Development Specialist to grow Parts, Accessories, Apparel, Yamalube, and Licensing businesses.

You will lead licensing contracts, manage supplier relations, and coordinate with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to deliver brand-aligned growth; travel up to 15%.

This role requires a BA/BS and 3–5 years in Powersports and brand marketing, with strong analytics; Yamaha offers a collaborative, inclusive workplace and benefits.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Marketing, Sales or Business related field.
• 3–5 years of Powersports or Motorsports experience preferred.
• 3–5 years of brand marketing experience preferred.
• Experience in sales strategy development, financial and category analysis, consumer marketing, product placement, and competitive analysis.
• Prior powersports accessory, apparel, or licensing experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Proactively looks for opportunities to grow Parts, Accessories, Apparel, Yamalube, and Licensing business; monitor market trends and surface actionable opportunities.
• Coordinate day-to-day activities related to apparel and licensing; manage licensees, vendors, and internal stakeholders; ensure proper brand usage.
• Lead the development, review, and approval of Basic Purchase Agreements (BPA) with internal teams; ensure brand and trademark compliance.
• Manage licensing agency to solicit licensees, develop sales materials, and track contract status and royalties.
• Support Product Line Manager on long-term strategy; prepare monthly status reports including sales, inventory, and royalties.
