Job summary
NAVAIR is seeking a P-8A Ground Station Assistant Program Manager for Systems Engineering (APMSE) to support PMA-290. The role oversees technical requirements development and the technical acquisition of the P-8A Ground Station.
You will develop and review program technical documentation, advise on engineering issues, assess available technologies for fleet applicability, and help define design concepts and performance requirements for future systems.
Qualifications
- Experience leading engineering requirements development.
- Ability to assess technologies for fleet applicability.
- Ability to formulate engineering design concepts and performance requirements.
- Knowledge of procurement processes and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and review program technical and mission documentation.
- Advise on engineering and technical issues and ensure requirements are met.
- Participate in development and design of new systems and assess tech for fleet applicability.
- Recommend revised operational requirements or design concepts as required.
- Prepare engineering portions of procurement documents.
