Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Project Quality Manager II to own the quality on capital projects from the owner's or EPC side. You will write the project quality plan and set the surveillance and audit program for contractors and suppliers.

You will qualify vendors and inspection subcontractors, review contractor QC plans and ITPs, manage nonconformance and corrective actions, and report quality metrics to project leadership and the owner's quality organization.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in quality on construction or industrial capital projects.
• 2+ years leading a project quality program.
• ISO 9001 lead or internal auditor certification required or preferred.
• Experience with owner-side quality programs in industrial, energy, infrastructure, or federal work.
• Ability to write quality requirements that contractors can execute and enforce them.

Responsibilities

• Write the project quality plan and contractor/supplier quality requirements.
• Plan and lead surveillance and audits of contractors and suppliers.
• Qualify vendors and inspection agencies.
• Review and accept contractor QC plans, ITPs, procedures, and inspector qualifications.
• Own nonconformance, corrective-action, and lessons-learned processes.
• Report quality metrics and risks to project leadership and the owner's quality organization.
