Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Project Quality Manager II to own quality on capital projects from the owner's or EPC side, drafting the project quality plan and directing surveillance of contractors and suppliers. You will review contractor QC plans, lead audits, qualify vendors, manage nonconformance, and report quality metrics to project leadership.

This role requires 6+ years in construction quality, ISO 9001 auditing certification, and ability to enforce complex quality

Qualifications

• 6+ years in quality on construction or industrial capital projects.
• 2+ years leading a project quality program.
• ISO 9001 lead or internal auditor certification.
• ASQ CQA or CMQ-OE preferred.
• Experience with owner-side quality programs in industrial, energy, infrastructure, or federal work.
• Able to write quality requirements that contractors can actually execute, and to enforce them.

Responsibilities

• Write the project quality plan and contractor/supplier quality requirements that flow from it.
• Plan and lead surveillance and audits of contractors and suppliers.
• Qualify vendors and inspection agencies.
• Review and accept contractor QC plans, ITPs, procedures, and inspector qualifications.
• Own the project nonconformance, corrective-action, and lessons-learned processes.
• Report quality metrics and risks to project leadership and the owner's quality organization.
• Prepare monthly quality reports for turnover and owner review.
