Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Project Quality Manager I on the owner side of a capital project. You will support the project quality program, perform surveillance of contractor and supplier activities, review quality records, and report to the project quality lead.

This entry-level path includes sponsored ISO 9001 internal auditor training and related inspection certifications; expect field and document work, with travel to sites as assigned from Sugar Land HQ.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in quality control, inspection, or QA on construction or industrial projects
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management principles
• Certification such as ICC, NICET, CWI, or CIP is a strong plus
• Comfortable reading specifications, procedures, and inspection records and identifying gaps
• Clear written reporting and organization under document-heavy work

Responsibilities

• Perform quality surveillance of contractor and supplier work against the project quality plan and specs
• Review contractor QC plans, ITPs, inspection records, and material certifications for completeness
• Track audit findings, nonconformances, and corrective actions in the project quality database
• Witness hold and witness points and document the results
• Prepare weekly quality status inputs for the project quality manager
