Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Project Quality Manager I to support owner-side quality on capital projects. You will conduct surveillance, review QC plans and inspection records, and track audit findings while reporting to the project quality lead.

The role alternates between field work and document review, requiring travel to project sites in Texas. This entry-level manager advances to higher project quality roles with sponsored ISO training.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in quality control, inspection, or QA on construction or industrial projects.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management principles.
• A certification such as ICC, NICET, CWI, or CIP is a strong plus.
• Comfortable reading specifications, procedures, and inspection records and finding the gaps.
• Clear written reporting.
• Organized under document-heavy work.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality surveillance of contractor and supplier work against the project quality plan and specifications.
• Review contractor QC plans, ITPs, inspection records, and material certifications for completeness and compliance.
• Track audit findings, nonconformances, and corrective actions in the project quality database.
• Witness hold and witness points and document the results.
• Prepare weekly quality status inputs for the project quality manager.
