Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Project Quality Manager I to support owner-side quality on capital projects. You will oversee surveillance of contractor and supplier quality activities, review QC documentation, and report quality status to the project quality lead.

This role requires 3+ years of QC/QA experience on construction projects, knowledge of ISO 9001, and the ability to read specs and records. Texas-based sites with travel and an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in quality control, inspection, or QA on construction or industrial projects.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management principles.
• Certifications such as ICC, NICET, CWI or CIP are a strong plus.
• Comfortable reading specifications, procedures, and inspection records and identifying gaps.
• Clear written reporting and documentation skills.
• Organized in document-heavy work environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality surveillance of contractor and supplier work against the project quality plan and specifications.
• Review contractor QC plans, ITPs, inspection records, and material certifications for completeness and compliance.
• Track audit findings, nonconformances, and corrective actions in the project quality database.
• Witness hold and witness points and document the results.
• Prepare weekly quality status inputs for the project quality manager.
