Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Project Quality Manager I on the owner or EPC side of a capital project. You will support the project quality program, surveil contractor and supplier quality activities, review documentation, and report quality status to the project quality lead.

This entry-level role focuses on writing the requirements rather than running a contractor's QC crew. A valid driver's license and on-site presence are required; the role involves travel and coordination with

Qualifications

• 3+ years in quality control, inspection, or QA on construction or industrial projects
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management principles
• a certification such as ICC, NICET, CWI, or CIP is a strong plus
• Comfortable reading specifications, procedures, and inspection records and finding the gaps
• Clear written reporting
• organized under document-heavy work

Responsibilities

• Perform quality surveillance of contractor and supplier work against the project quality plan and specifications
• Review contractor QC plans, ITPs, inspection records, and material certifications for completeness and compliance
• Track audit findings, nonconformances, and corrective actions in the project quality database
• Witness hold and witness points and document the results
• Prepare weekly quality status inputs for the project quality manager
