Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Project Quality Manager I who operates on the owner's side of capital projects, supporting the project quality program rather than a contractor's QC crew. You will surveil contractor and supplier quality activities, review quality documentation and inspection records, track audit findings to closure, and report quality status to the project quality lead.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in quality control, inspection, or QA on construction or industrial projects.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management principles.
• Certifications such as ICC, NICET, CWI, or CIP are a strong plus.
• Comfortable reading specifications, procedures, and inspection records and finding gaps.
• Clear written reporting and organization in document-heavy work.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality surveillance of contractor and supplier work against the project quality plan and specifications.
• Review contractor QC plans, ITPs, inspection records, and material certifications for completeness and compliance.
• Track audit findings, nonconformances, and corrective actions in the project quality database.
• Witness hold and witness points and document the results.
• Prepare weekly quality status inputs for the project quality manager.
