Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Project Quality Manager I on the owner or EPC side for Owensboro, KY. The role emphasizes surveillance of contractor quality activities, reviewing QC plans, and reporting to the project quality lead.

You will rotate between field activities and documentation, ensuring compliance and timely closure of findings. The position requires 3+ years in QA/QC on construction projects, ISO 9001 knowledge, and strong written reporting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in quality control, inspection, or QA on construction or industrial projects
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management principles
• Certification such as ICC, NICET, CWI, or CIP is a strong plus
• Comfortable reading specifications, procedures, and inspection records and finding the gaps
• Clear written reporting
• Organized under document-heavy work

Responsibilities

• Perform quality surveillance of contractor and supplier work against the project quality plan and specifications
• Review contractor QC plans, ITPs, inspection records, and material certifications for completeness and compliance
• Track audit findings, nonconformances, and corrective actions in the project quality database
• Witness hold and witness points and document the results
• Prepare weekly quality status inputs for the project quality manager
