Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Project Quality Manager I on the owner's or EPC contractor side of a capital project. The role supports the project quality program rather than running a contractor's QC crew, performing surveillance of contractor and supplier quality activities, reviewing quality documentation, and reporting quality status to the project quality lead.

You will alternate between the field and the documents, witness hold points, track audit findings to closure, and bring back

Qualifications

• 3+ years in QC, inspection, or QA on construction or industrial projects.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management principles.
• Certification such as ICC, NICET, CWI, or CIP is a strong plus.
• Comfortable reading specifications, procedures, and inspection records and finding the gaps.
• Clear written reporting and organization under document-heavy work.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality surveillance of contractor and supplier work against the project quality plan and specifications.
• Review contractor QC plans, ITPs, inspection records, and material certifications for completeness and compliance.
• Track audit findings, nonconformances, and corrective actions in the project quality database.
• Witness hold and witness points and document the results.
• Prepare weekly quality status inputs for the project quality manager.
