Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Project Quality Manager I on the owner side to support the project quality program. You will surveil contractor and supplier quality activities, review QC plans and records, and report quality status to the project quality lead.

Your week blends fieldwork with document review, witnessing hold points, and closing audit findings. This role advances to higher Project Quality Manager levels on successful performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in quality control, inspection, or QA on construction or industrial projects.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management principles.
• A certification such as ICC, NICET, CWI, or CIP is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality surveillance of contractor and supplier work against the project quality plan and specifications.
• Review contractor QC plans, ITPs, inspection records, and material certifications for completeness and compliance.
• Track audit findings, nonconformances, and corrective actions in the project quality database.
• Witness hold and witness points and document the results.
• Prepare weekly quality status inputs for the project quality manager.
