Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Project Quality Manager I on the owner side of a capital project to support the project quality program, surveilling contractor and supplier quality activities, reviewing quality documentation, tracking audit findings to closure, and reporting quality status to the project quality lead.

The role suits an inspector or QC engineer who wants to see quality from the side that writes the requirements, with weekly status inputs and coordination with project

Qualifications

• 3+ years in quality control, inspection, or QA on construction or industrial projects.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management principles.
• Certification such as ICC, NICET, CWI, or CIP is a strong plus.
• Comfortable reading specifications, procedures, and inspection records and finding the gaps.
• Clear written reporting and organized under document-heavy work.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality surveillance of contractor and supplier work against the project quality plan and specifications
• Review contractor QC plans, ITPs, inspection records, and material certifications for completeness and compliance
• Track audit findings, nonconformances, and corrective actions in the project quality database
• Witness hold and witness points and document the results
• Prepare weekly quality status inputs for the project quality manager
