Job summary

Evergreen Real Estate Group is seeking a Design & Construction Manager – Owner’s Representative to lead design, construction, renovation, and close-out of development projects across the Midwest. You will safeguard Evergreen’s interests, coordinating with development, construction, asset management, operations, architects, engineers, and contractors.

This hands-on, on-site role requires reviewing drawings, managing scope, schedule, and budget, and traveling 2–3 days per week to sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field required or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of construction management or owner-side project coordination preferred.
• Experience reading architectural, engineering and construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead owner-side design and construction oversight from planning through turnover.
• Coordinate with development, construction, asset management, and operations teams.
• Review plans, budgets, and schedules; manage risks and changes.
• Lead meetings and document decisions, actions, and responsibilities.
• Monitor field safety and quality; ensure compliance with contract terms.
