MBP (McDonough Bolyard Peck) is seeking a Construction Project Manager in the Bethesda, MD area. You will act as the owner's representative for medium- to large-scale healthcare and laboratory projects, guiding cost, schedule, and quality while interfacing with clients and teams.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of combined education and experience in healthcare/lab design and construction, with strong mechanical knowledge and a track record of contract administration and QA oversight.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in healthcare and/or lab facility design or construction.
• Proven delivery of healthcare/lab facilities and related systems.
• Strong mechanical background preferred.
• Experience in contract administration, change management, QA, CM or field engineering.

Responsibilities

• Provide owner representation during pre-construction and construction phases for mid- to large-scale projects.
• Review schedules for feasibility and progress against plan.
• Lead or participate in progress meetings and document minutes.
• Perform or oversee QA inspections to ensure contract compliance.
• Coordinate with contractors, designers, and owners to resolve issues.
• Review change order proposals for entitlement and price; assist negotiations.
• Coordinate reviews with authorities and third-party stakeholders.
• Coordinate punchlist and closeout activities including training and manuals.
